Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Functional Consultant with expertise in EAM, Supply Chain, and Inventory modules. This role is crucial for driving a shift-left testing strategy by transforming manual test scripts into automated solutions, thereby improving quality and accelerating release cycles. The ideal candidate will act as a functional Subject Matter Expert (SME), collaborating closely with business stakeholders, QA teams, and developers to modernize testing processes and enhance system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities (70%):

  • Process & Requirements: Lead workshops to gather business requirements, identify process gaps, and define pain points across EAM, SCM, and Inventory modules. Translate business needs into functional designs, test scenarios, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Solution Design & Configuration: Provide best-practice guidance and hands-on configuration in Oracle EBS EAM, SCM (Purchasing/Order Management), and Inventory. Conduct fit-gap analysis, create functional documentation (MD50/BR100), and perform cross-module impact assessments.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Define end-to-end testing strategies for enhancements, patches, and upgrades (R12.2.x). Optimize manual test cases to be automation-ready, modular, and reusable. Manage UAT cycles, obtain business sign-offs, and ensure requirement traceability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, QA teams, and project managers. Communicate project status, risks, mitigation plans, and go-live readiness.

Technical Responsibilities (30%):

  • Test Automation (Opkey Preferred): Lead the migration from manual to automated testing using Opkey. Develop automation frameworks, reusable components, object repositories, and data-driven test cases. Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins) and defect tracking tools. Maintain automation suites across environments.
  • Data & Defect Management: Create and manage test datasets. Perform root cause analysis for defects. Execute basic SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and audit support.
  • Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with developers on RICEW objects, APIs & integrations, and basic PL/SQL reviews. Support environment planning, system refreshes, and patch testing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Oracle EBS modules: Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Inventory.
  • Solid background in functional testing.
  • Experience or exposure to test automation tools (Opkey preferred).
  • Ability to write and execute basic SQL queries.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Panaya).
  • Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automation strategy and shift-left testing.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD integration (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
  • Exposure to Oracle R12.2.x upgrades.
  • Understanding of RICEW objects and PL/SQL basics.

Work Schedule:
