Position Summary: Oracle EBS Functional & Technical Specialist
We are looking for a seasoned Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Consultant with deep expertise in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Manufacturing modules. This is an onsite role based in Austin, TX, for a 12-month contract duration. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, driving the configuration and optimization of Oracle functionalities to support complex global supply chain operations. You will be tasked with aligning technical solutions with overarching business objectives, ensuring that the ERP architecture is both scalable and high-performing.
Core Functional and Technical Responsibilities
- Module Expertise: Demonstrate hands-on knowledge in configuring Oracle EBS Supply Chain modules including Purchase Order (PO), Inventory (INV), Order Management (OM), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Manufacturing Focus: Manage and optimize Manufacturing modules such as Work in Process (WIP) and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Strategic Design: Lead design discussions, perform fit-gap analysis, and create CEMLI (Configurations, Extensions, Modifications, Localizations, and Integrations) views.
- Technical Integration: Design and implement customization strategies using Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Oracle Forms, and PL/SQL.
- Middleware & APIs: Ensure seamless data flow between systems using APIs, Web Services, and Oracle SOA Suite.
- Performance Tuning: Conduct performance tuning and scalability planning to support high-availability environments.
Professional Requirements and Environment
This role requires a unique blend of functional business process knowledge and technical development skills. You must be able to navigate the complexities of procurement and manufacturing workflows while simultaneously writing efficient PL/SQL code or designing OAF pages. The project environment is fast-paced and requires a consultant who can work independently onsite in Austin. You will collaborate with implementation partners and internal stakeholders to deliver a robust ERP solution that supports the client’s growth. Strong communication skills are paramount, as you will be responsible for documenting technical specifications and presenting strategic roadmaps to executive leadership. This 12-month engagement offers the opportunity to work on a high-visibility project within a major technology hub.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $192,000 per year (Estimated)
