Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 (EBS) Technical Consultant with specialized expertise in Oracle APEX. This is a 100% remote opportunity, ideally suited for a professional who thrives in a distributed environment and possesses the technical depth to handle complex enterprise-level customizations. As we move into 2026, the demand for integrated EBS and APEX solutions has grown, and this role is pivotal in bridging legacy systems with modern web-based application frameworks. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical design, development, customization, integration, and support of Oracle EBS R12 applications, along with building and enhancing applications using Oracle APEX.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support complex customizations within the Oracle EBS R12 environment, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows) to meet evolving business needs.
- Architect and build robust applications using Oracle APEX, focusing on user experience and seamless integration with EBS data.
- Write and optimize advanced PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers to handle large-scale data processing.
- Utilize XML Publisher and BI Publisher to create sophisticated business reports and documents.
- Manage inbound and outbound interfaces to ensure data integrity across various enterprise systems.
- Customize Oracle Forms and Reports to align with specific functional requirements.
- Provide tier-3 technical support, troubleshooting production issues and implementing permanent fixes.
- Collaborate closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Execute rigorous unit testing, system integration testing, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle EBS R12 Technical Consultant.
- Proven track record of developing production-grade applications using Oracle APEX.
- Expert-level proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL performance tuning.
- Deep knowledge of Workflow Builder and EBS integration patterns.
- Familiarity with core EBS modules including Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Human Capital Management (HCM).
- Experience with modern DevOps practices and version control systems is a plus.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
