Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle EPBCS Developer to join our dynamic team in San Antonio, TX. This is a critical onsite contract position where you will be responsible for the end-to-end development, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) solutions. As a senior-level developer, you will work directly with key stakeholders and customers to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring proactive issue resolution and high-performance system delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently design, develop, and deploy Oracle EPBCS modules including Financials, Workforce, Capital Expenditure (CapEx), and Projects.
- Utilize advanced Essbase knowledge to perform complex cube design, optimization, and the creation of sophisticated calculation scripts.
- Develop and maintain custom business logic using Business Rules and Groovy scripting to enhance application functionality.
- Manage seamless data integration processes using Data Management and Data Exchange tools to ensure data integrity across platforms.
- Create and manage high-impact dashboards, Smart View templates, and comprehensive financial reports for executive decision-making.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of EPBCS application setup, including security configuration, user administration, and environment maintenance.
- Collaborate with FP&A teams to align technical solutions with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and performance tuning for existing Oracle Cloud EPM environments.
Technical Requirements
- 8-10 years of dedicated experience in Oracle EPM/Hyperion development.
- Primary expertise in Oracle PCMCS (Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Service).
- Secondary expertise in Oracle ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Service).
- Strong proficiency in Oracle Financials Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Hands-on experience with Groovy scripting within the Oracle EPM Cloud context.
- Deep understanding of financial business processes, specifically FP&A and corporate accounting.

This role requires a professional who can operate with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining clear communication with project leadership. You will be expected to lead technical discussions, provide architectural recommendations, and mentor junior staff where applicable. The project environment is fast-paced and requires a developer who is proactive in identifying potential bottlenecks before they impact the business cycle.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
