Opportunity Overview: Oracle EPM Planning Consultant
West Advanced Technologies, Inc. (WATI) is seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Planning Consultant for a critical 12-month engagement in Norwalk, CA. This role is designed for a Senior Developer with extensive expertise in Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS/EPBCS). You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated financial planning models that support enterprise-wide budgeting and forecasting processes. As a lead consultant, you will bridge the gap between financial requirements and technical execution, ensuring that the Oracle EPM suite is optimized for performance and accuracy.
Technical Responsibilities and Scope
- Design and develop complex PBCS components, including web forms, member formulas, business rules, and Groovy scripts.
- Lead the integration of Oracle EPM with Oracle Fusion applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and EPM Automate.
- Develop and maintain metadata and data load processes, leveraging REST APIs for seamless data flow between disparate systems.
- Create and optimize Financial Reporting (FR) reports, Management Reporting, and interactive dashboards for executive stakeholders.
- Perform rigorous system analysis and troubleshooting to resolve data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks.
- Manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from initial requirements gathering to final system testing and documentation.
- Collaborate with Finance and HR departments to align EPM solutions with Oracle Fusion HCM data structures.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle Planning and Budget Cloud Services (PBCS) projects.
- At least 3 years of experience in a lead capacity, managing technical teams or complex project workstreams.
- Proven experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) within the last 5 years.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM and its integration points with EPM.
- Strong proficiency in creating system-level documentation, including flow charts and detailed logic specifications using MS Office.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or a related engineering field from an accredited institution.
- Mandatory Certifications: Oracle Planning Implementation and Administration, Oracle Integration Cloud, or relevant Oracle Fusion certificates.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $198,000 per year (Estimated)
