Role Overview: Senior Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC) Consultant

As we move into 2026, the landscape of field service management has evolved into a highly integrated, AI-driven ecosystem. We are seeking a veteran Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC) Consultant to lead our field service transformation initiative. This is a high-impact, remote role requiring a minimum of 15 years of professional experience, specifically focusing on B2B service operations and complex enterprise integrations. The successful candidate will act as a strategic advisor and technical lead, ensuring that our field service solutions are not only functional but optimized for global scalability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities and Strategic Impact

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation and configuration of Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC) tailored for complex B2B service environments.
  • Analyze intricate business requirements and translate them into robust, scalable OFSC solutions that align with long-term organizational goals.
  • Expertly configure OFSC entities, including Activities, Resources, Routing, Quota, Capacity, and Business Rules, to maximize workforce productivity.
  • Architect and execute seamless integrations between OFSC and other enterprise systems such as Oracle Service Cloud, ERP, and CRM using advanced REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Design and implement sophisticated workflow automation and custom integrations to drive service delivery efficiency and reduce operational overhead.
  • Facilitate high-level workshops, lead user training sessions, and oversee comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system readiness.
  • Provide expert-level technical and functional support during critical deployment phases and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional technical teams to ensure on-time delivery and strategic alignment.
  • Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, solution architecture diagrams, and comprehensive configuration guides for future-proofing the system.

Technical Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of overall IT experience with a significant portion dedicated to Oracle CX and Field Service modules.
  • Proven track record of successful OFSC implementations in large-scale, multi-national B2B environments.
  • Deep domain expertise in scheduling, dispatching, and workforce management optimization.
  • Proficiency in modern integration protocols, including REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and complex data mapping strategies.
  • Strong understanding of routing logic, capacity management, and the key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive field service excellence.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote capacity while maintaining high levels of collaboration and project momentum.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $175,000 – $225,000 per year
