Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer specializing in Oracle Financials to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale financial applications within Oracle Financials R12 and related systems. In this role, you will build scalable, high-performance solutions that support millions of financial transactions daily, contributing directly to business growth and operational efficiency. This is an onsite position requiring 2 rounds of video interviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance applications within and around Oracle Financials R12.
- Build solutions to automate and optimize financial business processes.
- Develop and support RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions).
- Work with large-scale, complex data systems ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.
- Develop and maintain web services and integrations with Oracle Financials.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including coding, testing, and deployment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle Financials, including General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Strong understanding of Oracle ERP Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Forms & Reports, XML Publisher, and SQL / PL/SQL.
- Experience developing RICE components.
- Strong data modeling and data analysis skills.
- Experience designing scalable, high-performance distributed systems (SOA).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Java development.
- Strong understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite architecture.
- Proven experience leading complex software development projects.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and driving best practices.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
