Job Overview
SysMind is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Account Receivables Functional consultant to drive the functional configuration of the AR billing module from scratch within an existing Fusion Financials instance. This is a critical role for a client that values innovation and efficiency in their financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the functional configuration of the Oracle Fusion Accounts Receivable (AR) module, starting from initial setup to full operational status.
- Develop and implement robust AR billing processes tailored to the client’s specific business needs.
- Ensure seamless integration of the AR module with the General Ledger (GL) using Sub Ledger Accounting (SLA) functionalities.
- Provide expert functional guidance and support to technical resources throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee all phases of the project, from planning and design to testing and deployment.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional design documents, configuration guides, and user manuals.
- Conduct thorough testing of the AR module to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business requirements.
- Provide effective training to end-users, empowering them to utilize the system efficiently.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business challenges, and propose effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any functional issues that arise during implementation and post-go-live support.
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle Fusion Financials features and best practices to ensure optimal system performance.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Fusion Financials, with a strong focus on the Accounts Receivable module.
- Proven experience with at least two full-cycle implementations of Oracle Fusion Accounts Receivable.
- Extensive experience in the system configuration of Oracle Fusion AR, including setting up key modules and parameters.
- Deep understanding of AR processes and system functionality, including billing, cash management, and collections.
- Strong expertise in integrating AR with the General Ledger using Sub Ledger Accounting (SLA).
- Demonstrated ability to provide clear and concise functional guidance to technical teams.
- Experience working through all project phases, from initiation to closure.
- Proficiency in preparing and delivering documentation deliverables.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
Location: Jersey City, NJ
