Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant to join our team for a high-profile project with the NJ State client in Newark, New Jersey. As a senior-level consultant, you will be instrumental in the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules, specifically focusing on Procurement, Inventory, and Costing. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes and the ability to translate complex requirements into functional solutions within the Oracle ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and configuration of Oracle Fusion Procurement, Procurement Contracts, Inventory Management, Product Management (Item Master), and Costing modules.
  • Design and configure Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement, Sourcing, Blanket Purchase Agreements, and Contract terms/templates to meet specific business needs.
  • Manage comprehensive item master setup, including item attributes, categories, and product structures, ensuring data integrity across the system.
  • Configure inventory organizations, sub-inventories, transactions, and stock controls to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Support the setup of Costing modules, including cost organizations, cost books, cost elements, and inventory valuation methods.
  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from authoring and approvals to amendments and compliance monitoring.
  • Conduct thorough requirement gathering sessions, perform gap analysis, and lead testing phases including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Provide expert post-go-live support and troubleshooting to ensure system stability and user adoption.
  • Collaborate with Finance teams to support integrations with AP and GL, and develop robust reporting solutions using OTBI and BI Publisher.

Technical Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Oracle Applications, with at least 4 years dedicated to Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
  • Proven expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Product Data Management, and Inventory/Costing processes.
  • Successful track record of completing at least 2-3 end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementations.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Approval Management Engine (AME), data migration strategies, and integration patterns.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $150,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
