We are seeking an accomplished Oracle Fusion Solution Architect to join our client’s team in an onsite capacity in Georgia. This is a pivotal role for an individual with extensive experience in Oracle Fusion applications, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and a strong background in financial applications, particularly within the General Ledger module. This position requires a strategic thinker who can translate business requirements into robust technical architectures and guide project teams through successful deployments.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Oracle Fusion Solution Architect will be instrumental in leading the architectural design and implementation of Oracle Fusion solutions. This involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and develop comprehensive solution designs that align with business objectives and best practices. The architect will provide technical leadership, ensuring the integrity and scalability of the Oracle Fusion environment.
Essential Skills and Expertise
- Oracle Fusion – Solution Architect: Proven track record as a Solution Architect with extensive experience in Oracle Fusion applications. This includes a deep understanding of the various modules, integration capabilities, and architectural best practices within the Oracle Fusion ecosystem.
- Digital : EAS : Oracle Cloud Infrastructure: Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including experience with deploying and managing Oracle Fusion applications on OCI. Knowledge of OCI services, security, and performance optimization is crucial.
- F&A General Ledger: In-depth functional and technical knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials, specifically the General Ledger (GL) module. This includes understanding chart of accounts, journal processing, financial reporting, and period close activities.
- Architectural Design: Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performing Oracle Fusion solutions that meet complex business requirements. This involves creating detailed architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation plans.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with business users, IT teams, and senior management. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions within the Oracle Fusion environment.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with other Oracle Fusion Financials modules (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for integrating Oracle Fusion with other enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of data migration strategies and tools for transitioning data into Oracle Fusion.
- Certifications in Oracle Fusion Applications or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Experience Required
Candidates should possess 8-10 years of progressive experience in IT, with a significant portion dedicated to Oracle Fusion applications and solution architecture roles. This includes hands-on experience with large-scale implementations, upgrades, and support of Oracle Fusion environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead architectural discussions, make critical design decisions, and mentor junior team members. Compensation & Location
Salary: $80 – $100 per year (Estimated)
