Role Overview

The HCM AMS Transition Manager will lead end-to-end transition activities for Oracle HCM Application Managed Services (AMS). This role ensures smooth knowledge transfer, stabilization, and governance for post-implementation support while driving operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transition Planning & Execution: Develop and implement transition strategies for AMS engagements, including scope definition, timelines, and risk mitigation.
  • Knowledge Transfer & Stabilisation: Coordinate structured KT sessions between implementation and AMS teams; ensure documentation of SOPs and technical references.
  • Governance & Compliance: Establish governance models, escalation paths, and SLA baselines for AMS operations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between client teams, AMS delivery units, and internal leadership.
  • Process Engineering: Design and deploy To-Be processes, conduct gap analysis, and implement improvements for ITSM and AMS workflows.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track adoption metrics, error logs, and recurring issues; implement problem management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud modules and AMS frameworks.
  • Experience in transition governance, ITSM processes, and change management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage complex integrations and performance bottlenecks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or ITIL certification.
  • Prior experience in large-scale AMS transitions for HCM or ERP systems.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Phoenix, AZ
