Role Overview

The Oracle Incentive Compensation Developer will be a key technical resource responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of incentive plans within the Oracle Cloud environment. This role requires a deep understanding of how complex business logic translates into technical configurations to drive sales performance and organizational alignment. You will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that compensation strategies are accurately reflected in the system, providing transparency and accuracy for the sales force.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and configure complex Incentive Compensation Plans, including Plan Components, Performance Measures, and Rate Tables to meet specific business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Classification Rules, Assignment Rules, and Credit Rules to ensure accurate data processing and credit allocation.
  • Configure Incentive Formulae and utilize Flexfields to extend application functionality and meet unique business needs.
  • Manage Import Management processes for Users, Transactions, Rules, and Goals, ensuring data integrity across the platform.
  • Work on continuous enhancements to meet evolving business process requirements for Oracle Incentive Compensation Cloud Solutions.
  • Modify and create advanced Reports and Dashboards using OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) and Data Models to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to strategize and implement scalable cloud solutions that align with corporate goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to plan calculations, credit processing, and reporting.

Technical Requirements

  • 6-8 years of professional experience in Oracle Incentive Compensation (OIC) or related Oracle Cloud modules.
  • Proficiency in Web Services integration and cloud setups within the Oracle ecosystem.
  • Strong knowledge of credit rules, classification, and customization within the Oracle Cloud environment.
  • Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling for reporting and data migration purposes.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and functional designs.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $135,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Schaumburg, IL
