Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Inventory Cloud Consultant to join our dynamic team in Detroit, MI. This role is critical for our clients in the Midwest, requiring a deep understanding of procurement processes and warehouse management best practices. As a senior consultant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation and optimization of Oracle Inventory Cloud solutions, ensuring that our clients’ supply chain operations are efficient, accurate, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Depth

  • Lead the implementation and configuration of Oracle Inventory Cloud modules, with a specific focus on seamless integration with procurement workflows.
  • Design and optimize complex inventory processes, including warehouse layouts, storage strategies, and picking/putaway logic to maximize operational throughput.
  • Develop and execute robust cycle count and physical count strategies to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy and financial integrity.
  • Implement advanced scanning solutions and warehouse automation tools to reduce manual errors and improve real-time data visibility.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and deliver tailored Oracle Cloud solutions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Oracle Inventory Cloud functionality, staying abreast of the latest quarterly updates and features.
  • Manage monthly travel to client sites across the Midwest (approximately one week per month) to provide hands-on support and lead implementation phases.

Professional Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in ERP systems, with at least 3 years dedicated to Oracle Inventory Cloud.
  • Proven track record of successful Oracle Cloud implementations or major upgrades.
  • Strong functional knowledge of procurement processes and their integration points with inventory management.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile supply chain applications (MSCA) or similar scanning solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Special Requirements

Monthly travel to Midwest-approx. 1 week per month


Compensation & Location

Salary: $170,000 – $230,000 per year (Estimated)
