Multiple Remote Openings Available
We are currently seeking skilled professionals for several remote positions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). These roles offer the flexibility of remote work and require expertise in various OCI services.
Role: Oracle Kubernetes Engineer
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Managing and Maintaining the OKE (Oracle Kubernetes Engine) Environment in OCI.
- Creating, Managing, and Scaling OKE clusters, including node pools and worker nodes.
- Monitoring node performances.
- Managing pods, including creating, updating, and deleting pods, as well as monitoring pod performance and logs.
- Managing deployments, including creating, updating, and rolling back deployments, and monitoring deployment performance and logs.
- Ensuring the security and compliance of OKE environments by managing network policies, secrets, and Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC).
- Responsible for upgrading and patching OKE clusters, managing version upgrades, and applying security updates.
- Integrating OKE with other OCI services such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Registry (OCIR), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure monitoring, and Logging services.
Tools and Technologies:
- OCI Console, OCI CLI, Kubernetes CLI, OCI Registry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Role: OCI Windows Admin
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Server installation and configuration, migrations, tuning, patching, administration, and monitoring as a Windows Administrator.
- Perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization to ensure high availability of Windows VMs.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary.
- Handle certificate renewals, encryption, and OS-related security vulnerabilities along with remediation as per policies.
- Develop and maintain documentation and SOPs for cloud environments and deployments.
- Effective collaboration with infrastructure teams, application development teams, testing, and release teams.
- Active participation during migrations of applications, databases, BCP, and DR drills.
- Ensure all administrative procedures are followed. Maintain server uptime and its performance.
Role: OCI Network Admin
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Provisioning and Managing Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs).
- Subnet Creation and Management: Creating and managing subnets along with configuring IP addresses, subnet masks, and route tables.
- Network Security Groups: Creating and managing Network Security Groups and applying them to different VCNs, subnets, and individual resources as applicable.
- Network Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting for different performance issues in the network, including packet capture and analysis.
- Network Optimization: Optimizing network performance by configuring network settings such as MTU and TCP/IP parameters.
- Network Scalability: Scaling up network infrastructure to meet changing workload demands, including adding and removing network resources.
- Network Integration: Integrating network resources with other OCI resources such as compute, storage, and database services.
- Load Balancers: Deploying load balancers, configuring backend sets, listeners, and health checks.
Role: VMWare Admin
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated experience in architecture, deployment, and management of VMware Solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Compute Cloud@Customer (OC3) architecture and operations.
- Expertise in OCI Compute, Block Volumes, Boot Volumes, Custom Images, and Shapes in OC3.
- Experience with OCI Console and OCI CLI.
- Exposure to automation using Terraform / Ansible is preferred.
- Detailed migration knowledge and exposure to using the Rack ware tool (This is a MUST).
- Oracle RED/REI migration experience.
Special Requirements
Employment Type: Remote W2 (assumed based on common remote roles); All roles are Remote.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
