Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Oracle OCI Architect to join our enterprise infrastructure team in Grapevine, TX. This onsite role is critical for designing, implementing, and leading complex cloud and hybrid architectures. As we move into 2026, the demand for seamless integration between Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and other major cloud providers like Microsoft Azure has never been higher. This position requires a deep technical background in Oracle platforms, specifically focusing on Oracle Exadata Appliance and OCI-Azure interconnectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect comprehensive end-to-end OCI solutions tailored for mission-critical enterprise workloads, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Lead the strategic architecture and deployment of Oracle Exadata Appliances, covering both on-premises and cloud-integrated use cases.
- Develop and implement secure OCI integrations with Microsoft Azure, focusing on workload interoperability and secure connectivity.
- Define and maintain hybrid and multi-cloud architectures that bridge OCI, Azure, and existing on-premises infrastructure.
- Architect robust disaster recovery, performance tuning, and security protocols for all Oracle-based workloads.
- Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams including application development, database administration, security, and networking to ensure seamless system integration.
- Provide high-level technical leadership, conducting architecture reviews and establishing best-practice guidelines for delivery teams.
- Drive cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Produce detailed architecture documentation, reference models, and standardized deployment templates.
- Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex issues related to OCI and Exadata environments.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and management.
- Deep expertise in Oracle Exadata Appliance architecture, deployment, and performance optimization.
- Proven track record with OCI and Azure integration, specifically OCI-Azure Interconnect and identity federation.
- Strong mastery of OCI Networking components such as VCN, DRG, and FastConnect.
- Comprehensive understanding of OCI Compute, Storage, IAM, and advanced security services.
- Solid background in enterprise networking, security frameworks, and identity management concepts.
Experience and Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of overall experience in the Information Technology sector.
- At least 5 years specifically dedicated to Oracle architecture or cloud-focused architecture roles.
- Strong background in enterprise-scale hybrid cloud environments.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Preferred: Experience with Oracle Databases (RAC, Data Guard), automation tools like Terraform, and OCI certifications.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
