Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of working with SQL and XML, as these are the primary languages used for OIPA configuration and data management. The role also requires a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, to ensure that applications are scalable, reliable, and performant. In addition to technical prowess, the engineer must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to evaluate the interrelationships between different applications to ensure that changes in one area do not negatively impact others. This requires a holistic view of the technology stack and a commitment to maintaining the health of system assets. As a senior member of the team, you will influence the shaping of standards and tools, providing governance oversight to ensure project adherence to development strategies. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be key to your success. You will work in a geographically dispersed team environment, requiring excellent coordination and collaboration skills. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that directly affect the efficiency and reliability of our insurance policy administration processes. We are looking for a professional who is not only a coder but a solution architect capable of designing robust systems that stand the test of time.
