About the Role:
The client, NC FAST, is seeking a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft Azure Synapse developer to provide business and system analysis, modeling, design, development, and maintenance of Medicaid reporting solutions and semantic models. This is a hybrid contract position located in Raleigh, NC. The role involves close collaboration with the NC FAST internal business team and Medicaid team to develop new reports, maintain reporting code for enhancements based on the backlog of change requests from the business, and help fix defects from the backlog.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide business and system analysis, modeling, design, development, and maintenance of Medicaid reporting solutions and semantic models.
- Develop new reports based on business requirements.
- Maintain reporting code for enhancements and fix defects from the backlog.
- Work closely with the NC FAST internal business team and Medicaid team.
Required Skills:
- Experience programming and design of large-scale web-based distributed systems.
- Experience in using Oracle, Oracle Utilities, ETL tools such as Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Experience with SQL scripting and Relational Database modeling.
- Experience with structured system development methodologies.
- Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with the customer by responding to needs and exhibiting a sense of urgency; independently identify options.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects or BIRT.
- Data Warehouse experience.
- Experience with the Cram product.
- Strong SQL Skill.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $50 – $70 per year (Estimated)
