Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with a strong background in financial systems to join our client’s team in San Jose, CA. This role requires an F2F (Face-to-Face) interview. The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing and maintaining complex PL/SQL code, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support financial applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy efficient and robust PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
  • Analyze and understand financial business requirements to translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize SQL and PL/SQL code for performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in production and development environments.
  • Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for database objects and processes.
  • Participate in database design and data modeling activities.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the Oracle database environment.
  • Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and concepts.
  • Proficiency in writing complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Experience with Oracle database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Knowledge of database design principles and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with version control systems for database code.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Financials modules.
  • Knowledge of other Oracle technologies (e.g., SQL*Loader, Data Pump).
  • Experience with reporting tools.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
