Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Service (PCMCS) Consultant to join our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice. This role is critical for helping our clients optimize their financial modeling, cost allocation, and profitability analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical understanding of the Oracle EPM Cloud suite, specifically focusing on PCMCS configuration and model building. You will work closely with finance departments to translate complex business requirements into efficient, automated allocation rules and reporting structures that provide actionable insights into business performance.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end configuration and implementation of Oracle PCMCS models, ensuring alignment with client financial objectives.
  • Design and develop complex allocation rules and cost drivers to accurately distribute expenses and revenues across various business dimensions.
  • Architect dimension designs and data models that support granular profitability modeling and multi-dimensional analysis.
  • Utilize Oracle Data Management and Data Integration tools to automate the loading of metadata and financial data from source systems.
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards, financial reports, and Smart View templates to facilitate executive decision-making and self-service analytics.
  • Manage EPM Cloud administration tasks, including security configuration, Life Cycle Management (LCM) for migrations, and daily snapshot monitoring.
  • Conduct thorough profitability analysis and cost allocation reviews to validate model accuracy and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders to define revenue modeling strategies and expense allocation methodologies.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring high adoption rates and effective use of the PCMCS platform.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to calculation rules, data integrity, and system performance within the EPM environment.

Technical Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle PCMCS or legacy Hyperion Profitability and Cost Management (HPCM).
  • Expertise in building allocation logic, including rule sets, rules, and execution sequences within the PCMCS framework.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle EPM Cloud administration, including security, navigation flows, and environment management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Data Management (FDMEE) for data mapping and integration between ERP systems and EPM Cloud.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and Oracle Smart View for ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting principles, specifically regarding costing, expense allocation, and profitability reporting.
  • Proven ability to design user-friendly dashboards and reports using Oracle EPM Reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical IT requirements and functional finance needs.
  • Experience with other Oracle EPM modules (FCCS, EPBCS) is a significant plus.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $140,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Phoenix, AZ
