Job Title: Oracle Retail Application Support

We are looking for a dedicated Oracle Retail Application Support professional to join our client’s team in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves providing essential support for Oracle Retail modules, ensuring the smooth operation of merchandising, batch jobs, integrations, and data flows. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Databricks, and OIC, along with a solid understanding of Oracle RMS, RESA, RHIM, and GL.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide application support for Oracle Retail modules, including Merchandising, RMS, RESA, RHIM, and GL.
  • Monitor batch jobs, integrations, and data flows, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve failures related to batch jobs, integrations, and data flows.
  • Perform root cause analysis for application issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with business users and technical teams to understand requirements and provide support.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across Oracle Retail applications.
  • Assist in the implementation and testing of new features or updates.
  • Document support procedures and resolutions.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in application support for Oracle Retail modules such as Oracle RMS, RESA, RHIM, GL, and Merchandising.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation and querying.
    • Experience with Databricks for data processing and analytics.
    • Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for managing integrations.
    • Experience in monitoring batch jobs, integrations, and data flows.
    • Ability to ensure timely resolution of failures in application processes.
  • Education: At least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.

This is a contract position with a duration of 9+ months, requiring an onsite presence in Philadelphia, PA. The role is critical for maintaining the operational efficiency of our client’s retail applications.
