Role: Oracle RMS QE Tester
Teamware Solutions is seeking an experienced Oracle RMS QE Tester with strong domain knowledge in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) to ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of retail merchandising solutions. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of Oracle’s retail platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive functional and regression testing of the Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
- Validate core merchandising business flows, including items, purchasing, inventory, pricing, and costing.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases based on business and functional requirements.
- Conduct thorough integration testing with upstream and downstream retail systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
- Perform data validation using SQL queries to verify transactions, inventory levels, and stock ledger accuracy.
- Log, track, and manage defects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, functional consultants, and business users to address issues and improve system performance.
- Provide regular test status updates and quality metrics for ongoing and upcoming releases.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer (QE) Tester, specifically with Oracle RMS.
- Strong domain knowledge in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) is essential.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test cases.
- Experience with SQL for data validation and querying.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Experience with other Oracle Retail modules is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

This is a contract position located in Blue Ash, OH, working with Oracle as the end client. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the high quality of Oracle’s retail solutions.
