Role Overview: Oracle SaaS and IaaS Technology Architect
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle SaaS and IaaS Administrator / Technology Architect to join our enterprise infrastructure team in St. Louis, MO. This is a critical onsite role requiring a minimum of 12 years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Oracle SaaS and IaaS administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our Fusion application environment, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across our cloud ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities – SaaS Administration
- Manage the full User Lifecycle (Create, Modify, Delete) within Oracle Fusion ERP services.
- Execute complex role assignments in Fusion and manage granular access for business users.
- Coordinate patching cycles directly with Oracle to ensure environment stability.
- Perform Instance Refreshes via the Cloud Console and manage all post-clone activities.
- Control folder access for BIP report migration and maintain reporting integrity.
- Monitor, report, and resolve issues related to Oracle Fusion ERP scheduled processes (ESS jobs).
- Oversee environment refreshes in alignment with the ERP project implementation roadmap.
- Coordinate the preparation of Training, SIT, UAT, and Data Migration environments.
- Manage user access for non-production environments to facilitate testing and training.
- Provide production support for ERP user accounts, Identity Federation, and API Authentication.
- Configure Single-Sign On (SSO) and manage authentication providers.
- Ensure seamless migration of configuration and development objects across environments.
- Create and manage Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle support for SaaS-related issues.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Segregation of Duties (SOD).
Key Responsibilities – IaaS Administration
- Manage the OCI Tenancy and optimize resource allocation.
- Utilize OCI Object Storage for enterprise data management.
- Administer OCI components including Networking, Storage, IAM, and ATP databases.
- Implement OCI native security best practices to protect cloud assets.
- Configure Alarms, Alerts, and manage comprehensive audit logs.
- Analyze OCI cost utilization reports and implement cost optimization strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience managing Fusion application instances at scale.
- Expertise in managing OCI Landing Zones and associated cloud resources.
- Solid understanding of Fusion environment refresh schedules and lifecycle management.
- Proven experience with Fusion security frameworks, RBAC, and SOD compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Experience supporting 24×7 production environments.
- Strong analytical skills and interpersonal communication abilities.
Special Requirements
Onsite requirement in St Louis, MO; 12+ years IT experience required.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
