Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle SCM Project Manager with over 10 years of experience in project and release management within the supply chain management track. The ideal candidate will have mandatory experience in Oracle SCM and Cisco environments. This role involves coordinating release schedules, managing risks, and ensuring the successful deployment of releases according to project requirements and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project and release management activities for supply chain management track.
- Ensure mandatory experience in Oracle SCM and Cisco environments.
- Oversee the process of raising change requests and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Facilitate communication of project-related tasks, including plans, timelines, and requirements, between different teams.
- Coordinate the release schedule and required resources, considering third-party applications, defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates.
- Identify and manage risks that could delay releases, ensuring that scope, schedule, and quality are not compromised.
- Track project progress, identify issues, and continuously work to improve the release process.
- Ensure releases are planned and executed within budget and according to requirements.
- Schedule release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release.
- Develop implementation and deployment plans aligned with the release schedule.
- Provide weekly updates on release activities.
- Ensure the allocation of Release Engineers for every release.
- Communicate effectively with release managers from various IT departments.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Leverage experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Project Management and Release Management.
- Strong experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) track.
- Mandatory experience with Oracle SCM.
- Mandatory experience with Cisco environments.
- Experience in managing change requests and approval processes.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Special Requirements
Cisco Experience is mandatory.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
