Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle SOA Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle SOA 12c composite applications and Oracle Service Bus (OSB) 12c services. This role requires a strong understanding of integration patterns, messaging middleware, and database scripting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle SOA 12c composite applications.
  • Develop and configure OSB 12c services, including proxy and business services.
  • Implement JMS-based integrations using queues, topics, SAF, and bridges.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SOA, OSB, and JMS-related issues.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation and integration logic.
  • Develop and maintain Groovy scripts for message transformations and enhancements.
  • Configure and manage work managers to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Support SOA server tuning, clustering, and environment stabilization.
  • Assist in deployment, monitoring, and reporting of SOA/OSB services.
  • Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable integration solutions.
  • Follow best practices for error handling, logging, and reusability.

Essential Skills:

  • SOA Integration: Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SOA Suite 12c, expertise in BPEL and Composite Applications.
  • OSB Development: Experience with Oracle Service Bus (OSB) 12c, proficient in designing and implementing synchronous and asynchronous integrations.
  • Messaging Middleware: In-depth knowledge of JMS Queues and Topics, experience with Foreign JMS Queues, working knowledge of Store-and-Forward (SAF), experience configuring and managing JMS Bridges.
  • Database Scripting: Ability to write basic to intermediate SQL queries, understanding of joins, subqueries, and performance considerations.
  • Scripting: Hands-on experience with Groovy scripting (for SOA, OSB, or extensions).
  • Performance Infrastructure: Knowledge of Work Managers, experience in SOA server tuning and performance optimization, understanding of SOA clustering concepts, exposure to SOA/OSB monitoring and reporting.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with other integration platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based integration solutions.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in SOA environments.

Experience Required:

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70 – $70 per year

Location: Baltimore, MD
