Job Description: Oracle Supply Planning Consultant
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Supply Planning Consultant with expertise in ASCP (Advanced Supply Chain Planning) and Demantra. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle EBS R12, including ASCP, Demantra, and Production Planning modules. The consultant will be responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing processes, designing solutions, configuring modules, conducting CRPs, and providing end-user support.
- ASCP & Demantra Implementations: 10+ years of experience in Oracle ASCP and Demantra solution implementations.
- Oracle EBS R12 Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge and strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12 ASCP, Demantra, and Production Planning.
- Business Process Mapping: Hands-on experience in Oracle R12, gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing and mapping business processes, providing GAP analysis, and designing extensions.
- Module Configuration: Configuring ASCP, Demantra, and Production Planning modules.
- Testing & Support: Conducting conference room pilots (CRPs), end-user tests, planning and executing cut-over tasks, and providing post-go-live support.
- Forecasting & Planning: Good understanding of Forecasting, Demand Planning, and Supply Planning processes.
- ASCP Plan Setup: Experience in ASCP plan setup (Standard, Constrained/Unconstrained, Net/New) and strong knowledge of MRP, BOM, Routings, Resources, Lead Times, and Planning Parameters. Experience with ASCP exceptions, planner workbench, reschedules, shortages, Collections, planning data refresh, and snapshots.
- Integration Knowledge: Good understanding of Inventory, BOM, WIP, and Purchasing integration with Planning.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot forecast issues, ATP issues, and plan output exceptions.
- APCC: Strong knowledge in Advanced Planning Command Center (APCC).
- Demantra Platform: Knowledge of Oracle Demantra platform, architecture, and integration capabilities. Expertise in Demantra: Demand Management, Forecasting, Worksheets, Scenarios.
- Workbook Development: Experience with Workbook development (Table-based, composite, data modification, alerts, hierarchies, filters, scenario hierarchy setup, series).
- Planning Engine: Understanding of planning engine knowledge and data model modification.
- Demantra Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot worksheet issues, engine errors, interface failures, and batch jobs, workflows, methods, and business modeler configurations.
Good to Have Skills:
- Good SQL skills for data validation and planning diagnostics.
- Knowledge of S&OP, DRP, constrained planning, pegging analysis.
- Certification in Oracle Demantra Demand Management.
- Experience in manufacturing and supply chain heavy environments.
- Ability to work with Oracle vendor for standard problems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Configure and support ASCP, Demantra integrations, and Planning flows.
- Manage collections, planning runs, exceptions, and planner workbench.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Inventory teams on planning issues.
- Prepare BRD/FRD, functional specs, test scripts, and UAT documents.
- Support testing, cutover, plan migration, UAT, go-live, and hypercare.
- Troubleshoot forecasting, planning output, and supply constraints.
- Improve planning accuracy, master data, and lead time settings.
