Role Overview: OTM Architect
Estuate INC is seeking a visionary Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Architect to lead complex logistics and supply chain transformations. This contract position is based in the New Jersey/New York area with remote flexibility, focusing on high-impact implementations for mid-to-large scale projects. As an OTM Architect, you will be the primary owner of various workstreams, responsible for designing sophisticated system architectures that streamline global transportation operations. You will leverage your deep functional and technical expertise to deliver solutions that enhance shipment planning, execution, and freight settlement for diverse industry segments.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead knowledge acquisition during the transition phase and streamline activities for offshore delivery teams.
- Act as the primary owner for multiple workstreams, delegating tasks effectively to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Establish and standardize OTM processes for steady-state execution and seamless customer onboarding.
- Provide high-level system architecture guidance to teams responsible for bespoke configuration and maintenance.
- Standardize OTM solutions across different customer environments to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Design and implement complex integrations using B2B standards such as EDI and API.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution designs that meet intricate business requirements.
- Manage conflict resolution and team building within a fast-paced, multi-workstream environment.
- Ensure the successful delivery of full lifecycle implementations from inception to post-production support.
Technical Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 9 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
- Proven track record of at least 3 full lifecycle OTM implementations in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, XML, XSL, and BI Publisher is required for technical customization and reporting.
- Strong functional configuration skills across core OTM modules, including shipment planning, execution, and freight settlement.
- Expertise in OTM Sourcing, Fleet Management, and B2B Integration methods.
- Experience in the 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) industry is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of alternative Order Management or Transport Management Systems is considered an advantage.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and leadership skills are essential for client-facing interactions.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
