Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS) Technical Lead to spearhead a large-scale utility transformation initiative. This 100% remote role is open to candidates residing in the EST or CST time zones. As a Technical Lead, you will be the primary driver for implementation, configuration, and integration efforts within complex enterprise utility environments. You will leverage your deep technical knowledge of Oracle WACS to guide delivery teams and ensure the successful execution of SI-led programs.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle WACS solutions tailored to utility business needs.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-performance technical solutions within the WACS framework.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and configuration teams throughout all delivery phases.
- Oversee integration efforts between Oracle WACS and adjacent enterprise systems such as ERP, GIS, and mobile workforce management platforms.
- Provide expert-level technical oversight, troubleshooting, and best-practice recommendations to ensure system stability.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders, program leadership, and system integrators to drive successful project outcomes.
- Contribute to enterprise architecture discussions, ensuring all WACS solutions align with corporate standards and security protocols.
- Configure asset lifecycle management, maintenance workflows, and field work management processes within the cloud environment.
- Manage technical debt and ensure the long-term maintainability of the Oracle Utilities ecosystem.
- Facilitate technical workshops and design sessions with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Oracle Utilities or similar enterprise asset management platforms.
- At least 3 years of hands-on, deep technical experience specifically with Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS).
- Proven track record in a Technical Lead or Solution Lead capacity on large-scale enterprise projects.
- Strong background in the Utilities domain (Electric, Gas, or Water).
- Experience with cloud-based enterprise platforms and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior resources effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interface with C-suite stakeholders and technical engineers alike.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience working on programs led by large global system integrators.
- Knowledge of enterprise-grade integrations across ERP and field service platforms.
- Familiarity with the broader Oracle Utilities ecosystem (C2M, MDM, CCS).

Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
