Position Summary
SiriInfoInc is looking for an experienced Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS) Technical Developer for a long-term contract engagement in Schaumburg, IL. This role is pivotal in enhancing our client’s supply chain capabilities by developing and maintaining robust technical solutions within the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) ecosystem. The successful candidate will leverage their deep expertise in PL/SQL and Oracle development tools to streamline warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping execution processes. This is a 12+ month project requiring a developer who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Core Technical Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and debug complex Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages to support WMS business logic.
- Develop and customize Oracle Forms and Oracle Application Framework (OAF) pages to meet specific user requirements and operational workflows.
- Provide technical leadership in the implementation of Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS) modules, ensuring seamless integration with Oracle Inventory and Shipping Execution.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and high-performance code.
- Optimize database queries and application code to ensure high availability and performance of critical supply chain systems.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for all developed components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Oracle EBS modules, providing timely fixes and root cause analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience as an Oracle Technical Developer with a focus on Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules.
- Expert-level proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, including advanced performance tuning techniques.
- Proven track record of developing and extending Oracle Forms and OAF (OA Framework) pages.
- Strong functional understanding of Oracle WMS, Oracle Inventory, and Oracle Shipping Execution modules.
- Experience with Oracle EBS R12 architecture and standard APIs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team, managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable code.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Special Requirements
Duration: 12+ Months contract.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $130,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
