Position Summary
We are looking for a visionary OutSystems Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions for our direct client in New Jersey. This is a high-impact, onsite role that requires a blend of deep technical expertise in low-code platforms and traditional software engineering. As an Architect, you will be the primary technical authority for OutSystems projects, ensuring that all solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards. You will work directly with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust technical designs while providing hands-on guidance to development teams.
Core Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience specifically designing and delivering enterprise solutions on the OutSystems platform.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, particularly for building custom OutSystems extensions and integrating with external systems.
- Solid understanding of modern web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Must hold OutSystems Professional or Expert Developer certifications.
- Proven track record of architecting complex integrations with third-party APIs and legacy systems.
- Experience in performance tuning, security hardening, and scalability planning within the OutSystems environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design of new OutSystems applications and the modernization of existing legacy systems.
- Define and enforce development standards, best practices, and governance models for the OutSystems platform.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure seamless deployment and compliance with corporate policies.
- Mentor and coach developers, providing technical leadership and conducting rigorous code and architecture reviews.
- Stay abreast of the latest OutSystems features and industry trends to drive innovation within the organization.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units, ensuring that delivered solutions provide maximum value.
Work Environment
This position requires a mandatory onsite presence 5 days a week at our New Jersey location. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where they can interact directly with client stakeholders and team members. Special Requirements
5 days onsite mandatory in New Jersey; OutSystems Professional or Expert certification required.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
