Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA) to join our team for an onsite engagement in Charlotte, NC. This role requires a deep understanding of Pega platform capabilities and a proven track record of designing and implementing robust Pega solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of Pega solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical best practices.
  • Develop and implement complex Pega applications, including case management, workflow automation, and business process management.
  • Utilize Pega CSSA expertise to optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the Pega platform.
  • Ensure adherence to Pega best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Pega features, functionalities, and industry trends.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in Pega development and architecture.
  • Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification is mandatory.
  • Strong expertise in Pega case management, application security, and integration rules (connectors and services).
  • In-depth understanding of Pega’s layering concepts for optimal reusability and maintainability.
  • Proven experience in domains such as Dispute Resolution, Fraud Detection, or other complex case management scenarios.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an onsite environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Pega Platform (all versions relevant to enterprise solutions)
  • Pega Case Management
  • Pega Application Security
  • Pega Integration Rules (Connectors, Services)
  • Pega Architecture and Design Patterns
  • Database knowledge (SQL, etc.)
  • Understanding of SDLC methodologies

Domain Experience:

  • Experience in Dispute Management, Fraud Detection, or similar case management domains is highly preferred.

Work Environment:

  • This is an onsite position requiring full-time presence at our Charlotte, NC location.
  • Mandatory in-person interviews will be conducted.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70 – $90 per year
