Position Summary: Pega Senior Technical Lead
Cygnus Professional Inc., in partnership with HCL, is seeking an experienced Pega Senior Technical Lead for a high-profile onsite engagement in Atlanta, GA. This leadership role involves overseeing the end-to-end implementation, customization, and support of Pega-based applications. The successful candidate will serve as the primary technical authority, guiding a team of developers to deliver sophisticated business process management (BPM) solutions that align with strategic organizational goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a dedicated team of Pega professionals through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Architect and design complex Pega applications, ensuring adherence to the Pega Guardrails and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Provide expert-level technical guidance and mentorship to junior and senior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee the integration of Pega platforms with external systems, legacy applications, and third-party APIs.
- Perform deep-dive troubleshooting of complex technical issues, providing innovative resolutions to optimize application performance.
- Ensure high-quality delivery through rigorous code reviews, unit testing, and automated testing strategies.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder expectations to ensure timely project completion.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Expert proficiency in the Pega Infinity platform (8.x/9.x), including Case Management, Data Modeling, and UI/UX development.
- Strong understanding of Pega’s Decisioning and Marketing capabilities, including decision strategies and proposition management.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams in large-scale Pega implementations and support projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve intricate technical challenges within the Pega ecosystem.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and business leadership.
- Experience with Pega DevOps, including Deployment Manager and CI/CD integration.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks.
Certification Requirements
- Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) is mandatory.
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) is mandatory.
- Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) is highly preferred.
Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite in Atlanta, Georgia. Candidates must be prepared to work from the client location daily. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will lead critical digital transformation initiatives for a global leader in technology services.
Special Requirements
Must possess Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) and Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certifications. Position is 100% onsite in Atlanta, GA.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $150,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
