Job Description: Pentaho Data Integration Developer (Remote)
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pentaho Data Integration Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ETL processes and extensive experience with Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) and related tools. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust data integration solutions to support our business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Pentaho Data Integration (PDI).
- Utilize SOS Job Scheduler for job orchestration and monitoring.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Develop and maintain batch/Unix scripts for data processing and automation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration processes.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy throughout the integration lifecycle.
- Work with complex data models and interpret data structures.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data integration.
- Provide technical support and documentation for developed solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven proficiency with Pentaho Data Integration (PDI).
- Experience with SOS Job Scheduler.
- Strong SQL skills for complex data manipulation and querying.
- Experience in designing and implementing ETL solutions.
- Proficiency in writing batch/Unix scripts.
- Ability to interpret and work with complex data models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a remote team.
