Role Overview
Hallmark Global Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated PeopleSoft CRM and PeopleSoft Administration Support Specialist for a critical contract engagement in Atlanta, GA. This onsite role is designed for a technical professional with over 8 years of hands-on experience in managing complex PeopleSoft ecosystems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end health of the PeopleSoft application environment, ensuring that all components—from the web tier to the database—are optimized for performance, security, and high availability. This position requires a deep understanding of the underlying architecture and the ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple layers of the technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and secure PeopleSoft environments, including web servers, application servers, database servers, process schedulers, and file servers.
- Provide comprehensive support for PeopleSoft CRM application issues, performing deep-dive root cause analysis across middleware, operating systems, and databases.
- Manage and maintain WebLogic and Tuxedo configurations to ensure seamless application delivery and high performance.
- Monitor system performance continuously, conducting detailed analysis to identify bottlenecks and optimize resource usage across the environment.
- Execute PeopleTools and application upgrades, applying patches and critical CPU updates for WebLogic, Tuxedo, and JDK/JRE environments.
- Develop and maintain rigorous documentation for system architecture, configuration settings, and operational procedures to ensure knowledge transfer.
- Lead Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities, including regular failover and recovery testing to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional application teams to recommend system improvements and plan for future PeopleTools adoption and modernization.
- Provide 24/7 on-call production support, including evening and weekend shifts as required by business needs and critical system events.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in PeopleSoft Administration and PeopleSoft CRM support within enterprise environments.
- Expert-level proficiency with PeopleTools, WebLogic, and Tuxedo middleware components.
- Strong hands-on experience in both Windows and Linux server environments, including shell scripting and OS-level troubleshooting.
- Proven track record in performance tuning and system optimization for large-scale enterprise applications.
- In-depth knowledge of middleware security, infrastructure components, and network protocols relevant to PeopleSoft.
- Experience with automated patching tools and version control systems to maintain environment consistency.
Environment and Infrastructure
The candidate will work within a robust infrastructure that leverages both Windows and Linux platforms. You will be expected to navigate complex network topologies and security layers to maintain the integrity of the PeopleSoft environment. This role requires a proactive approach to infrastructure management, anticipating potential failures before they impact the business. You will be the primary point of contact for environment stability, working closely with database administrators and network engineers to ensure a cohesive support model.

Beyond technical expertise, this role demands excellent communication skills to interface with stakeholders and application developers. You must be able to translate complex technical issues into actionable business insights for management. The 24/7 on-call requirement necessitates a high degree of flexibility and a commitment to maintaining system uptime at all costs. Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
