Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft CRM Support Consultant with 8+ years of experience to provide comprehensive support and maintenance for PeopleSoft CRM applications. This role is critical for ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our PeopleSoft environments across Windows and Linux platforms. The consultant will be responsible for administration, system performance monitoring, production support, and managing critical system components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain the PeopleSoft application infrastructure, including web servers, application servers, database servers, process scheduler, report servers, and file servers.
- Monitor system performance, conduct in-depth analysis, and implement performance tuning strategies to ensure optimal system availability and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across middleware, database, and application layers, applying necessary fixes and configuration changes.
- Manage and maintain key components such as WebLogic, Tuxedo, and PeopleTools environments.
- Support and execute PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and critical patch updates (CPUs) for PeopleSoft, WebLogic, Tuxedo, and JDK/JRE.
- Participate actively in disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning, including conducting failover testing.
- Maintain robust system security and ensure strict adherence to enterprise standards and best practices.
- Document system architecture, configurations, operational procedures, and support processes thoroughly.
- Provide 24/7 production support, which includes on-call support during evenings and weekends as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and enhance overall system performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in PeopleSoft administration and support, with a specific focus on PeopleSoft CRM.
- Strong, in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft architecture and PeopleTools.
- Hands-on experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, and other middleware components.
- Proven experience working on both Windows and Linux platforms.
- Excellent troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system monitoring skills.
- Demonstrated experience with PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and environment management.
- Solid understanding of database concepts and system integrations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
Additional Information:
- Duration: 6 Months contract.
- Location: Atlanta, GA.
Special Requirements
Provide 24/7 production support, including on-call support during evenings and weekends.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
