Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Physical Security Project Manager to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly within the realm of physical security and compliance. This role is fully remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage physical security projects from initiation to completion.
- Ensure compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and other relevant security regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for physical security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security solutions and best practices.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, and status updates.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in physical security and information security.
- Facilitate the execution and assimilation of evidence and other artifacts related to security compliance.
- Validate that actions or decisions taken to address gaps are appropriate and reported accurately.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on physical security.
- In-depth knowledge of PCI DSS compliance requirements and implementation.
- Experience with compliance and risk management in Information Security.
- Familiarity with regulatory reviews and risk assessments.
- Experience working as an Information Security Analyst/Manager is a plus.
- Understanding of vulnerability management tools (e.g., Tenable, Twistlock, Qualys).
- Knowledge of container orchestration tools and technologies (e.g., Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Network Segmentation Tools and Technologies (e.g., firewalls, IP Switches, Routers).
- Strong understanding of various Database and distributed technologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
