Position Summary
KK Software Associates is currently looking for a dedicated PL-SQL Lead/Developer for a 100% onsite role in Dallas, Texas. This position is critical for our client’s database operations and requires a candidate who is not only technically proficient in Oracle technologies but also capable of leading functional and technical teams through complex RDBMS challenges. The role demands a local candidate who is available for a mandatory face-to-face interview process.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Skills
- Develop, test, and implement complex database triggers, stored procedures, and packages using PL/SQL.
- Perform advanced Oracle SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning to optimize system response times.
- Manage database environments across Oracle 10g, 11g, and 19c versions, ensuring seamless transitions and upgrades.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into efficient technical designs.
- Lead the development of procedural language solutions within the Texas-based project team.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers to ensure best practices in database development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to database performance and data integrity.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
The successful candidate will have between 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience specifically within the Oracle RDBMS ecosystem. We are looking for a specialist who understands the nuances of Oracle 19c and can leverage its features for modern enterprise applications. You must have a demonstrated ability to perform deep-dive performance tuning, including the use of explain plans, hints, and indexing strategies to resolve bottlenecks. Strong analytical skills are a must, as you will be tasked with solving intricate data logic problems. Because this is a Lead role, excellent communication skills are required to bridge the gap between technical execution and business objectives. This is a strictly onsite position in Dallas, TX; candidates must be local to the area or willing to relocate immediately at their own expense to facilitate the face-to-face interview requirement. Compensation & Location
Salary: $115,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
