Position Summary
We are looking for a Technical and Functional expert to join our Regulatory Reporting IT Team as a PL/SQL Developer. This is a hybrid role based in New York City, requiring local candidates who can balance remote work with onsite collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of deep technical development skills in Oracle PL/SQL and strong functional knowledge of the banking and finance domain, specifically regarding regulatory reporting requirements like FR 2052A.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the development, solution design, and deep data analysis for critical regulatory reporting projects.
- Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, cursors, and triggers within an Oracle environment.
- Synthesize complex user requirements into actionable technical designs and perform rigorous data validation for regulatory topics.
- Manage Oracle Data Warehouse and DataMart development using PL/SQL and Unix scripting.
- Oversee the releasing and packaging of code into production environments, ensuring stability and compliance.
- Liaise between end-users in the finance department and technical teams to ensure reporting accuracy.
Technical Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Developer or Analyst within a Financial Institution.
- Expert-level knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL development and performance tuning.
- Mandatory experience implementing the FR 2052a (Liquidity Risk) report.
- Familiarity with other regulatory filings such as FRY-15.
- Experience with Nasdaq Axiom Regulatory Reporting solutions is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Unix shell scripting for data processing and automation.
- Ability to create and implement end-to-end solution designs based on business requirements.
Functional and Domain Expertise
- Deep understanding of the Regulatory Reporting domain within the US Banking sector.
- Proven ability to analyze, problem-solve, and summarize complex functional subjects for executive review.
- Strong data validation skills to ensure the integrity of reports submitted to regulatory bodies.
- Experience working in high-pressure financial environments with strict reporting deadlines.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $160,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
