Role Overview: AI Pod Lead (Generative and Agentic AI)
Vkore Solutions is seeking a visionary and hands-on AI Pod Lead to spearhead the development and deployment of Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI solutions within the Private Alternatives investment sector. This senior leadership role is based onsite in New York City and focuses on driving investment lifecycle efficiency for Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Assets, and Infrastructure funds. The AI Pod Lead will be responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of AI initiatives that optimize processes from deal research through to asset disposition. This is a high-impact role requiring a unique blend of technical expertise in cutting-edge AI frameworks and a deep understanding of the financial services domain, specifically within private markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of Generative and Agentic AI solutions tailored for Private Alternatives investment processes.
- Manage a multidisciplinary AI pod consisting of data engineers, front-end developers, and investment domain experts.
- Collaborate with investment professionals and technology partners to identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases.
- Architect and implement AI-driven tools for deal research, pipeline management, diligence automation, and portfolio monitoring.
- Ensure all AI solutions comply with regulatory requirements, data privacy standards, and industry best practices.
- Establish KPIs to measure the impact of AI on efficiency gains and investment outcomes.
- Drive continuous innovation by staying current with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and market trends.
- Foster a culture of experimentation, rapid prototyping, and knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Translate complex technical AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
Required Technical Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in building enterprise-scale applications.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience overseeing cross-functional teams in the GenAI or Agentic AI space.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages for AI development.
- Expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative frameworks (OpenAI, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Agentic orchestration platforms such as LangChain, AutoGPT, or similar.
- Proficiency with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Apps for low-code/no-code AI solutions.
- Knowledge of NLP, generative modeling, reinforcement learning, and agent-based simulation.
- Experience integrating AI tools with systems like Salesforce, DealCloud, eFront, Investran, or Snowflake.
- Strong understanding of Private Equity and Private Credit investment processes.

Interview Process and Location
This is a long-term contract position located onsite in New York City (NYC). The interview process consists of two primary stages: an L1 Video Interview followed by an L2 Face-to-Face interview. Local candidates are strongly preferred for this role due to the onsite requirement and the nature of the collaboration required with the investment teams.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $225,000 – $320,000 per year (Estimated)
