Job Overview

An Infrastructure Specialist in Platform Engineering Services acts as a trusted advisor to Client IT, providing expertise in infrastructure, security, and risk management. They analyze and resolve incidents, provision, deploy, configure, migrate, manage, and support infrastructure products. Their primary responsibility is to ensure high-quality technical support, meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and adhering to process compliance. By conducting business impact analyses and risk assessments, they minimize the likelihood of significant service outages or disasters, thereby enhancing overall IT resilience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Power Engineer (3-5 yrs): Focus on distribution networks & OT.
  • ADMS Expertise: Power-flow convergence, circuit analysis, issue resolution.
  • Platform Familiarity: AspenTech OSI, SCADA integration, power-flow validation.
  • Analysis Tools: CYME, capacity maps, OSI power-flow.
  • GIS & CIM: Network modeling, asset connectivity, topology.
  • Advanced Apps: FLISR, VVO, VVC, CVR exposure.
  • Modeling: Load, substation, underground, DER.
  • Network Principles: Strong understanding of modeling & data.
  • Standards: IEC 61970/61968, DNP3, ICCP.
  • Technical Skills: Scripting (SQL, Python), data validation.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal/written.
  • Practical Experience: Substation, underground, DER modeling.

Special Requirements

Remote position with willingness to travel for in-person co-location with advance notice. C2C Contract.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $70 – $80 per year
