Role: Power Platform Software Architect
This role involves developing Power Platform solutions, primarily using Azure Government Cloud. The architect will lead architecture and design discussions with stakeholders, configure data gateways to connect Power Platform with Azure Managed SQL and Azure Blob/File Storage, and configure authentication using Azure Active Directory.
The position requires participation in Agile development teams, assisting with backlog refinement, story development, and estimation. The architect will also participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Building user interfaces using Power Apps and Power Pages, producing technical architecture documentation, and providing knowledge sharing and mentorship to developers are key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Power Platform solutions using Azure Government Cloud.
- Lead architecture and design discussions with stakeholders.
- Configure data gateways connecting Power Platform to Azure Managed SQL and Azure Blob/File Storage.
- Configure authentication using Azure Active Directory.
- Participate in Agile development teams.
- Assist with backlog refinement, story development, and estimation.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Build user interfaces using Power Apps and Power Pages.
- Produce technical architecture documentation.
- Provide knowledge sharing and mentorship to developers.
Required / Desired Skills:
- Strong experience developing Power Apps (Model-driven & Canvas).
- Experience with Power Automate and Power Pages.
- Experience working with multiple data sources and datasets.
- Experience building Power BI dashboards and reports (Tableau experience acceptable as alternative).
- Experience mentoring developers.
- Experience gathering business requirements.
- Experience with UX design best practices.
- Experience designing multi-device user experiences.
- Experience with multilingual application support.
- Experience building ADA-compliant applications (WCAG 2.1).
- Experience implementing DevOps deployment pipelines.
Environment:
- Hybrid work model
- Contract duration: 12 months with extension potential

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
