Job Overview

Seeking experienced Power Platform Software Developers to design, develop, and deploy modern digital applications. The developer will collaborate with architects, business analysts, and project managers in an Agile environment to build scalable applications using the Microsoft Power Platform within Azure Government Cloud. This engagement may require multiple consultants, and the client is looking for vendors capable of scaling resources throughout the contract duration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop applications using Microsoft Power Platform within Azure Government Cloud.
  • Build user interfaces using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven Apps) and Power Pages.
  • Develop workflows using Power Automate.
  • Configure data gateways between Power Platform and Azure data sources.
  • Implement Azure Active Directory (AAD) authentication.
  • Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
  • Work within Agile development practices including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Assist in backlog refinement and story estimation.
  • Develop Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps).
  • Experience with Power Automate and Power Pages.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Experience handling data from multiple sources.
  • Experience creating Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Knowledge of Azure integrations with Power Platform.

Preferred / Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with Tableau or other visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of UX design best practices.
  • Experience designing cross-device responsive applications.
  • Experience developing multilingual applications.
  • Knowledge of ADA-compliant applications (WCAG 2.1).
  • Experience implementing DevOps build and deployment processes.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $80,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
