Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior Software Engineer to serve as our PowerApps Lead. This is a pivotal role within our engineering department, specifically focused on the long-term architecture and evolution of the Sidekick platform. As a lead, you will be responsible for shaping the technical vision while remaining deeply involved in hands-on development and implementation. The ideal candidate is a Microsoft Power Platform expert who understands the nuances of enterprise-scale application development and can bridge the gap between complex business requirements and intuitive user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define and maintain the scalable architecture for Sidekick modules, ensuring they align with the broader Hansei technology roadmap and enterprise standards.
- Advanced Development: Build and enhance sophisticated PowerApps solutions, including Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and complex Business Process Flows (BPF).
- JavaScript Customization: Utilize advanced JavaScript proficiency to implement customizations that extend the native capabilities of the Power Platform.
- Security & Governance: Design and implement robust Security Roles and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models within the Dataverse environment.
- SDLC Management: Take full ownership of the software development life cycle, from initial 0-to-1 development to production launches and iterative feature rollouts.
- AI Integration: Lead the effort to build, train, and deploy machine learning and GenAI models tailored to healthcare business use cases within the Azure environment.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business partners to refine requirements, translate them into actionable User Stories, and provide critical UX feedback.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and code reviews for junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and engineering excellence.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of dedicated experience in PowerApps development (Canvas and Model-Driven).
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript for Power Platform extensions.
- Proven experience with Power Automate (Cloud Flows) and Dataverse.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience integrating AI agents and GenAI models into enterprise applications.
Domain & Preferred Qualifications
Given our focus on behavioral health and revenue cycle management, candidates with experience in the healthcare domain will be highly prioritized. Specifically, we look for individuals familiar with HIPAA data handling requirements and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) workflows. Microsoft PowerApps certifications and experience with Power BI or automated testing tools like Test Studio are considered significant advantages. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong time management skills and the ability to interpret complex business needs into usable, intuitive digital solutions.
Special Requirements
Healthcare domain expertise required; HIPAA data handling; Revenue Cycle Management experience preferred; Core hours availability 10 AM – 4 PM Central.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $205,000 per year (Estimated)
