Role Overview
Infosys is seeking a seasoned PowerBuilder Developer with strong expertise in Sybase PowerBuilder to support the development, enhancement, debugging, and modernization of enterprise applications. This is a critical onsite position based in Denver, CO, requiring a professional who can hit the ground running from day one. The role involves working on high-stakes legacy systems that are vital to the client’s operations, ensuring they remain robust while planning for future modernization. As a senior developer, you will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from initial troubleshooting to the implementation of complex system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Sybase PowerBuilder.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing PowerBuilder applications to ensure peak performance.
- Work extensively with Sybase ASE, SQL Anywhere, or other major RDBMS platforms to manage complex data structures.
- Lead modernization and migration efforts for legacy PowerBuilder systems to ensure they meet contemporary standards.
- Design and integrate APIs and Web Services to facilitate communication between internal and external systems.
- Support workflow-driven and multi-system orchestration, ensuring seamless data flow across platforms.
- Participate in application performance tuning and system improvements to reduce latency and improve user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams, including database administrators and system architects.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Sybase PowerBuilder development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Sybase ASE or SQL Anywhere.
- Proven track record in legacy application support and modernization.
- Expertise in API and Web Service integration.
- Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting skills in complex enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts and SQL optimization techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with network provisioning systems or circuit lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with OSS Platforms and infrastructure inventory systems.
- Exposure to PowerServer or cloud-based PowerBuilder deployments.
- Knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Background in Media or Broadcast Operations environments.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $115,000 – $155,000 per year (Estimated)
