Role: Principal AI Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal AI Architect with 8+ years of experience in engineering, ML, data platforms, and/or distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with modern cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP and a strong understanding of the AI/ML technology stack, including LLMs, MCPs, K8s, Open AI, Snowflake, and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build AI platforms as a service.
  • Develop solutions for Agent to Agent Orchestration and Agentic Layer Integration.
  • Create AI UX Layer and Conversational AI Models.
  • Ensure adherence to Responsible AI frameworks, evaluation standards, and frameworks.
  • Apply strong architecture skills in Distributed systems, Data engineering, Cloud Architectures, and Platform Engineering.
  • Implement data governance, metadata systems, semantic layers, and knowledge graphs.
  • Provide clear guidance on designing secure and regulated AI systems at enterprise scale.
  • Break down and decouple AI ecosystems into clear capabilities, standards, and integration patterns.
  • Leverage prior experience in Platform Engineering and building horizontal shared or central capabilities.

Technical Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in engineering, ML, data platforms, and/or distributed systems as a senior architect.
  • Deep hands-on experience with modern cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Expertise in AI/ML technology stack (LLMs, MCPs, K8s, Open AI, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
  • Deep knowledge of building AI platforms as a service.
  • Understanding of Agent to Agent Orchestration, Agentic Layer Integration, AI UX Layer, and Conversational AI Models.
  • Awareness of Responsible AI frameworks and evaluation standards.
  • Strong architecture skills in Distributed systems, Data engineering, Cloud Architectures, and Platform Engineering.

Stamford, CT (Hybrid – 2 days per month in office)

Compensation & Location

Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year (Estimated)
