Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Product Architect to provide enterprise architecture leadership across one or more agile product teams. This role will drive product strategy, architecture design, and technical decision-making, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solution and enterprise architecture, with the ability to guide teams in building scalable, secure, and future-ready systems while enabling continuous delivery in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Architecture Design: Define and maintain product architecture vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and enterprise architects to shape product strategy. Develop high-level architecture designs (target state architecture) for products and portfolios. Identify opportunities for technology innovation, modernization, and proof-of-concepts. Ensure alignment with Minimum Viable Architecture (MVA) and enterprise standards.
- Architecture Decision Leadership: Guide product teams in making key architecture decisions. Interpret and apply enterprise reference architecture. Collaborate with domain architects (application, data, security, infrastructure). Mentor and coach teams on architecture best practices and design thinking. Evaluate trade-offs, risks, and long-term impacts of technical decisions.
- Architectural Runway & Delivery Enablement: Define and manage architectural runway to support agile delivery. Identify technical enablers, dependencies, and capabilities required for product success. Work with product owners to prioritize architecture-related backlog items. Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and technical roadblocks.
- Enterprise Architecture Alignment: Contribute to architecture governance, standards, and best practices. Collaborate with enterprise architects and cross-product teams. Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture guidelines. Support evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies. Drive reuse of shared capabilities across product lines.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in software development, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture.
- Strong understanding of architecture domains: business, application, data, and technology.
- Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments supporting product teams.
- Proven experience in architecture design, roadmaps, and system modernization.
- Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and cloud architecture.
- Hands-on exposure to technologies such as: Backend: Java, .NET, Python, Go; Frontend: JavaScript, HTML, CSS; Databases: SQL, Oracle, NoSQL.
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience with integration, security, and network architecture concepts.
- Familiarity with modeling tools (UML, ArchiMate).
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant architecture certifications (TOGAF, AWS, Azure) are a plus.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year
