Job Overview:
Tanisha Systems Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager for a contract position located in New York City, NY. This role requires a hands-on individual with deep functional knowledge in commercial/wholesale payments, including payment rails, merchant-facing experiences, and internal operations tools. The ideal candidate will have 4-10 years of product management or hybrid BA/PM experience and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage product roadmaps, PRDs, epics, and user stories for commercial/wholesale payments platforms.
- Collaborate directly with development teams to define requirements and ensure successful product delivery.
- Own end-to-end product delivery within two-week Agile sprints.
- Manage UAT cycles and provide support to technical teams.
- Focus on areas such as reporting needs, setup flows, merchant-facing tools, and internal operational tooling.
- Drive clarity and push deliverables independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate cross-domain coordination.
Required Domain Expertise:
- Commercial / Wholesale Payments
- Payment rails: ACH, wires, crossborder FX, banking rails, push-to-card, PayPal-like flows
- Merchant-facing experiences: portals for refunds, reversals, reports, tax statements, transaction performance analytics
- Internal operations tools: screens and workflows for operations, internal support, and tooling
- Scalable platform-level payments (e.g., experience from Amazon, Walmart, Expedia, etc.)
- End-to-end payment lifecycle: from merchant interactions to backend reconciliation and payouts
Exclusions:
- Not looking for EMV, hardware, or terminal-focused payments backgrounds.
- Limited applicability for candidates strictly from checkout optimization / top-of-funnel consumer payments.
Experience & Skills:
- 4 to 10 years of product management or hybrid BA/PM experience.
- Hands-on experience writing PRDs, epics, and user stories.
- Ability to work directly with developers.
- Experience managing UAT cycles.
- Proven ability to own end-to-end delivery within Agile sprints.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, execution-oriented, and high-pressure environment.
- Proactive and self-driven individual.
Work Environment:
- This is a 5-day per week onsite role in New York City.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 per year
