Job Overview

We are seeking experienced, hands-on Product Managers with 10-12 years of experience to join a fast-paced commercial/wholesale payments platform team. This role requires deep expertise in commercial and wholesale payments, a strong understanding of various payment rails, and experience with merchant-facing portals and internal operations tools. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end payment lifecycle experience and a proven track record of owning PRDs, user stories, and UAT. You will work directly with developers in Agile sprints and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the product vision and strategy for the commercial/wholesale payments platform.
  • Gather and document detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams in Agile/Scrum methodologies, participating in 2-week sprints.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch analysis.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Work with internal operations teams to understand and improve operational workflows and tools.
  • Ensure seamless integration with various payment rails (ACH, Wires, Cross-border FX, Push to Card, PayPal-like flows).
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders across business, technology, and operations.
  • Present product strategies, roadmaps, and performance metrics to senior leadership.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 10-12 years of experience in product management, specifically within commercial or wholesale payments.
  • Deep understanding of commercial and wholesale payment products and services.
  • Strong knowledge of payment rails including ACH, Wires, Cross-border FX, Push to Card, banking rails, and PayPal-like flows.
  • Experience with merchant-facing portals, including functionalities like refunds, reversals, reporting, and analytics.
  • Exposure to and understanding of internal operations tools and workflows related to payments.
  • Proven experience with the end-to-end payment lifecycle, from merchant onboarding to reconciliation and payouts.
  • Demonstrated ownership of Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Comfortable working directly with developers in Agile sprints (2-week cycles).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are mandatory.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience with scalable platform-level payments in large e-commerce environments (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Expedia).

Work Environment

This is an onsite role requiring 5 days a week at the New York, NY office. You will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team focused on innovation in the payments space.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
