Role Overview
The Product Manager for .NET Platform Modernization is a critical leadership position focused on driving the evolution of large-scale enterprise products. This role requires a unique blend of strategic product thinking and deep technical understanding of modern software architectures. You will be responsible for steering the product roadmap, managing complex backlogs, and ensuring that the platform meets the high-performance demands of a modern business environment. This position is ideal for a professional with 8-12+ years of experience who has successfully led platform modernization efforts in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the modernization of legacy platforms into cloud-native, microservices-based architectures using .NET and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate closely with software architects to design and implement solutions using .NET, Blazor, MudBlazor, and MariaDB.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcomes to measure the success of product initiatives and platform health.
- Manage the product lifecycle from conception through to production readiness, ensuring all non-functional requirements (NFRs) are met.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog that aligns with business goals and technical debt reduction.
- Engage with executive stakeholders to communicate product vision, progress, and risks effectively.
- Oversee Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) for critical business systems.
- Ensure an API-first design approach and the implementation of event-driven patterns using RabbitMQ.
Technical Requirements
- 8-12+ years of experience in Product Management, specifically within the enterprise software or platform modernization space.
- Hands-on working knowledge of .NET microservices and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, specifically MariaDB, and event-driven messaging systems.
- Expertise in roadmapping, backlog management, and outcome tracking in high-scale environments.
- Demonstrated ownership of production readiness and NFRs in critical business systems.

- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Medina, OH, and engage directly with client teams (Relocation assistance available).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior product owners or business analysts.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
