Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Product Manager with Salesforce experience to join an established product team. This role is a temporary backfill for a Product Manager working on a special project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the team, including backlog grooming, story refinement, delivery oversight, story acceptance testing, and execution of a defined product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the product backlog, ensuring stories are refined and prioritized.
  • Oversee the delivery of product features and ensure they meet acceptance criteria.
  • Execute the product roadmap, collaborating with engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate daily team operations using Jira/Confluence.
  • Work closely with a Salesforce CRM instance.
  • Provide informal leadership for the team through delivery and execution.
  • Collaborate with a team of 5 engineers and 1 Product Analyst, located in the U.S. and Chile.
  • Engage with business stakeholders across multiple time zones.

Technical Environment

  • Work management tools: Jira/Confluence.
  • Primary product support: Salesforce CRM instance.
  • Supporting technologies: AWS data stores and integration processes, Snowflake.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Required Experience: 4-5 years of product management experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Jira/Confluence. Salesforce experience is strongly desired, but candidates with experience in other CRM platforms will be considered.
  • Preferred Skills: Salesforce, Financial Services background (specifically wealth management), Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Nice to Have: Fluent in Spanish.

Team and Culture

  • The team consists of 5 engineers and 1 Product Analyst, distributed across the U.S. and Chile.
  • The team is established and highly collaborative with business stakeholders.

Contract Details

  • Duration: 6 months, with a possibility of extension.
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with a preference for local candidates within a 1-hour commute.

Interview Process

  • The hiring process is motivated to fill the position quickly.
  • Likely one round of interviews with a Principal employee.
  • Ideal candidates will have immediate availability.

  • Anticipated challenges include complex business processes and a broad stakeholder group.

  • Must be a Citizen or GC holder.

Special Requirements

Visa: Citizen, GC. Screening: Must have a valid LinkedIn with Picture and Location. Interview Mode: 1 round with Principal employee. Domain: Financial Services (wealth management) preferred.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: West Des Moines, IA
