Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead product development initiatives in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the product backlog, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality features aligned with business objectives. This role requires strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) and JIRA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the product backlog in Azure DevOps/JIRA, ensuring items are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters and development teams to plan and execute sprints effectively.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
  • Conduct workshops, meetings, and research to gather and refine product requirements.
  • Define and communicate the product roadmap aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate delivered features.
  • Track and report product delivery progress using ADO/JIRA dashboards and metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through user feedback and performance analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or Agile Product Management.
  • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and JIRA.
  • Expertise in product backlog management, sprint planning, and user story creation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience defining acceptance criteria and supporting UAT activities.
  • Ability to work closely with development teams to deliver high-quality product features.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in Azure or cloud-based environments.
  • Knowledge of Agile metrics, reporting, and product performance analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year
